About The Role

We are seeking a passionate, driven, and experienced Deputy General Manager (DGM) to support the General Manager in leading daily operations across both the restaurant and events side of the business as well as supporting our department leaders to achieve the strategic business goals. As DGM, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and leading a large team in a fast-paced, premium environment.
 
The Deputy General Manager provides critical administrative and operational support for our large restaurant and events operation at DogTap. This role serves as the administrative backbone, ensuring smooth daily operations while directly supporting the General Manager.
Key Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Oversee scheduling systems, staff rotations, and time-off requests through our digital management platform
  • Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering, receiving, and reconciliation
  • Coordinate with the leadership team to ensure accurate daily financial reporting, cash management, and banking procedures
  • Maintain all required business licensing, permits, health certificates, and compliance documentation
  • Pre-prepare payroll processing, including verification of hours and addressing discrepancies
Operational Support:
  • Implement and maintain digital record-keeping systems for all operational aspects
  • Develop administrative procedures that streamline operations and enhance efficiency
  • Ensure the daily operation of the restaurant is guaranteed in terms of staffing and maintenance
  • Serve as primary liaison with vendors
