About The Role

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Territory Commercial Manager will work to optimize existing partnerships with assigned wholesaler customers and key retailer customers to achieve sales, effective placement and profit targets within all channels/classes of trade and across all assigned multiple markets; this position is also accountable for executing all brand programming, chain mandates/authorizations and marketing programming within the assigned geographies.

Provide leadership against strategic direction to ensure detailed market/geo growth, effective plan execution across all assigned geographies and via all field wholesaler partners.

 

Deliver Performance Goals: shipment plan, profit, and depletion and effective placement goals.

 

Maximize the performance of all brands within all Classes of Trade in each state(s) through the execution of Brand and Package standards as well as Merchandising standards

 

Manage FCM team(s) and provide coaching, mentorship/leadership for those roles

Build Top Class partnership(s) with distributor Regional and/or Field Sales teams through enhanced management routines, SOPs and time in 

market/alongside those local and Regional “street level” teams

 

Execute against all field-level plans (including “Lighthouse” accounts) and other metrics in alignment of ABPs and MBOs.

 

Communicate Effectively: Share and develop Weekly recaps for high level, consistent information and “needs to know” with/for wholesaler partners

 

Ensure Flawless Execution: Collaborate closely with regional and field-level distributor partners to ensure flawless execution of internal and/or customer initiatives.

 

About You

Experience

Highly Developed customer service, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)

 

Highly Developed success in formulating account strategies and execute against them to drive results

 

Developed analytical skills/use of data tools for assessment of plans/marketplace/trends/needs.

VIP/iDIG/KARMA experience are a must

 

Developed organizational skills, capable of managing time and multiple projects effectively

through tools provided. Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams experience a must.

 

Highly Developed relationship building skills and collaborative spirit

 

Developed influence and negotiation skills; persistent and persuasive whilst also aligned to internal strategies and full understanding and alignment to customer’s strategies and needs
