About The Role

We're looking for someone to lead and manage the sustainability agenda for Brewdog. Working alongside the supply chain and bars teams you’ll own the carbon reduction strategy. It’s a hands on role with a mixture of delivering CO2 reduction projects and ensuring other project owners around the business are delivering against their plans also.

 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Build and manage the Ellon carbon Neutral strategy
  • Own the overall business carbon reduction program covering scope 1, 2, + 3 emissions
  • Delivery of 2/3 transformation projects for the Ellon brewery
  • Work with procurement/suppliers to build a scope 3 monitoring and reduction program
  • Be an active member of the supply chain leadership team ensuring sustainability is championed throughout the operation
  • Responsible for business carbon reporting
  • In partnership with marketing produce the annual “make Earth Great Again” (MEGA) report for the business

 

To be successful in the role you’ll build a program that gets the full buy in of all the various teams involved across the business. Not only will you be able to demonstrate a clear carbon reduction strategy for the business you’ll also be able to show progress against the strategy.

Utilizing your technical skills you’ll be able to deliver 2/3 hero projects that are ideally not only transformational for Brewdog but for the beer industry.

About You

Key competencies
  • Carbon literacy and accounting
  • Engineering qualification ideally
  • Strong numeracy skills with ability to make recommendations from analysis
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels throughout the business

No direct qualifications needed but a background of working in sustainability either in a food manufacturing or engineering environment would be beneficial.

Due to the nature of projects in the pipeline an Engineering degree would be a strong advantage
