In your role as Health & Safety manager you will primarily support the main brewery in Ellon and our warehouse in Eurocentral. At times you may also be asked to support other parts of the business.

• Lead the health and safety team ensuring your team are clear on what is expected of them and get the support and development they require to succeed.
• Develop, own and maintain the site health and safety strategy ensuring that you have buy in from across the teams
• Develop and deliver a Brewdog behavioural Safety program which drives safety culture and behaviours to achieve an incident free work place
• Ownership and development of the Health and Safety management system, ensuring its effectiveness and that it is implemented consistently, undertaking audits and ensuring action plans are established to address issues identified.
• Ensure full compliance with legislative requirements
• Ensure that effective processes are in place for reporting and investigating Health and Safety incidents, and that preventative and corrective actions are implemented.
• Participate in and lead inspections, audits, and incident investigations. Support the process of identification of root causes and non-conformance closeouts.
• Provide advice and support on Health and Safety issues.
• Source, implement, deliver and assess Health and Safety training to allow organisational competence on Health and Safety matters.
• Lead in areas such as process safety, permits to work, contractor management, etc ensuring that you own the process but each team is clear on it’s roles and responsibilities in these areas.
• Drive a collaborative working culture with other teams striking a balance between challenging and coaching to drive the right safety behaviours through the business

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast moving and demanding environment. They have strong communication skills, work well as part of a team and remain calm under pressure. They have previous experience working in a Health & Safety role and knowledge of current health and safety regulations.
