About The Role

Job Purpose

This isn’t about waiting for enquiries to convert themselves; it’s about owning the pipeline and making bookings happen!

As Sales Manager, BrewDog Waterloo, you’ll play a critical role in driving pre-booked sales across one of the most exciting and high-capacity venues in the UK. Your mission is to convert inbound enquiries at pace, generate outbound opportunities, and maximise occupancy across all bookable spaces, experiences, and events.

You’ll manage day-to-day sales performance within the venue, ensuring enquiries are handled quickly, pipelines are actively developed, and every opportunity to increase booking value is captured. Working closely with the Head of Sales and Operations teams, you’ll be the driving force behind incremental sales revenue through group bookings, corporate events, celebrations, experiences, and repeat business from positive relationships.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day sales activity for BrewDog Waterloo, ensuring all inbound enquiries are handled efficiently and converted into confirmed bookings.
  • Drive strong inbound conversion performance, ensuring rapid response times and a high standard of communication with guests and clients.
  • Build and maintain outbound sales pipelines, proactively targeting corporate clients, local businesses, agencies, and group organisers.
  • Own and deliver agreed sales targets across group bookings, private hire, corporate events, and BrewDog experiences.
  • Support the planning and coordination of large-scale and complex events, ensuring clear communication between sales and operations teams.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting of sales pipelines, identifying opportunities and risks to revenue delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell packages, premium spaces, experiences, and add-ons to increase average booking value.
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to execute the Waterloo sales strategy and deliver key commercial priorities.
  • Lead the Waterloo sales team, driving ambitious targeted sales.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure smooth handover of confirmed bookings and successful event execution.
  • Build strong relationships with repeat customers, corporate clients, and local stakeholders to drive repeat business.
  • Contribute ideas for new revenue opportunities, event concepts, and sales initiatives tailored to BrewDog Waterloo.
  • Monitor performance metrics such as conversion rates, enquiry response times, and booking values, taking action where needed.
  •  Support the delivery of promotional campaigns and targeted sales activity aligned to the central marketing calendar.

About You

Qualifications & Specific Training
  • Training and confidence in booking platforms.
  •  Experience or training in sales techniques 
Experience
  • Experience in a sales, reservations, or events role within hospitality or large-scale venues.
  • Proven track record of converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.
  • Experience managing group bookings, private hire, or corporate events.
  • Building outbound sales pipelines and developing new business opportunities.
  • Experience working within fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environments.
  • Experience supporting the delivery of events from enquiry to completion.
  •  Experience analysing sales activity and using data to improve performance.
Knowledge
 
  • Understanding of inbound sales conversion processes and enquiry management.
  • Knowledge of outbound prospecting and business development techniques.
  • Familiarity with hospitality booking flows, trading periods, and demand management.
  •  Understanding of large venue capacity planning and booking coordination.
 
Skills
 
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a focus on conversion and revenue growth.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
