Key Skills

Server Assistant Responsibilities include and may be additional to the following:

• Constant communication with Servers in regard to guests needs and issues
• Making sure table caddies are fully stocked with silverware, napkins, salt and pepper shakers.
• Clearing dirty plates, utensils, and glassware from tables as required.
• Carrying dirty tableware to the kitchen area.
• Preparing tables for arriving patrons by wiping up spills on tables and floors, clearing away crumbs on tables and chairs.
• Accommodating arriving guests to see if they would care for water or ask if they want to purchase bottled water
• Delivering food to tables when Servers and Food Runners are  busy.
• Responding to patrons' requests and informing management of any complaints.
• Arranging tables and chairs to accommodate larger groups of patrons.
• Ensuring that the server station is adequately stocked with necessary restaurant supplies
