About The Role

Job Purpose

To support our UK & International sales team via commercial analysis, reporting and providing insights to ensure robust decision making and a clear understanding of financial implications.

Key Result Area / Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Commercial analysis of initiatives, supporting the International distribution network and sales channels.
  • This will include analysis of pricing, promotions and ROI.
  • Production of weekly/monthly MI.
  • Supporting the Budget and forecasting process – producing templates, data and reports.
  • P&L consolidation for international sales.
  • Generating a rolling forecast to highlight ongoing trajectory.
  • Trend analysis. Understanding and highlighting areas of risk or opportunities across the business and clients.
  • Be a key member of the S&OP process ensuring joined up and co-ordinated approach to the forecast between commercial team, supply chain and FP&A.
  • Utilising existing tools to leverage reporting (Adaptive, PowerBI, etc).
Key Relationships - Internal & External
  • Work closely with the UK Commercial Lead for both On & Off Trade.
  • Supporting the wider international team with regard to decision making and initiatives. This includes both Grocery and Impulse channels internationally as well as Brewery operations and Joint Ventures.
  • Drive a collaborative working culture across both the finance and non finance functions, working closely to ensure fulfilment of business requirements whilst encouraging openness and approachability.
  • Work together with the other departments to ensure the smooth running of the total operation.
  • Make decisions based on what is best for the business and not just your department.
Health & Safety
  • Ensure that Health and Safety guidelines and fire regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
  • Comply with safe working practices as defined by BrewDog
  • Complete online or face to face training as and when required
  • Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by acts or omissions at work
  •  Report any accidents, incidents or near misses as soon as reasonably practicable.
General
  • Be aware of and adhere to BrewDog policies and the Workplace Code at all times
  • Take part in crew reviews throughout the year
  • Cooperate with other BrewDog departments to achieve a great experience for our customers, applicants, colleagues, and contractors
  • Attend training courses and complete online
    training modules as required to meet the
    requirements of the role
  • Take responsibility for own personal development, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills
  • Undertake any other duties as requested which are reasonably deemed to be within the scope of the role or necessary for the smooth running of the business
  • Apply the BrewDog charter and behaviours to every aspect of the role at all times
  • Protect and enhance the interests and reputation of BrewDog internally and externally

About You

Qualifications & Specific Training
  • Degree qualified with a strong academic track record
  • Part Qualified accountant (e.g. CA, CIMA, ACCA, ACMA)
Experience
  • Experience gained in an organization or environment with a high degree of complexity and pace
  • A background in businesses going through rapid growth is desirable
Knowledge
  • Commercial awareness
Skills
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Excellent Excel capabilities with experience of manipulating large volumes of data
  • Ability to prioritise and adapt to workload
Personal Attributes
  • Inquisitive nature and driven to challenge and improve current practices
