About The Role

Job Purpose
 
Work with the NPD team to enable new SKUs in SAP systems, Coordinate and manage the sourcing of externally produced products enabling world class service to our customers.
 
KEY RESULT AREA / PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Critical NPD Path: SKU and Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for owning all data stage gates within the EPD/NPD cycles.
    • Timely manner of data submission on new SKU/Recipe setup.
    • Ensuring any roadblocks on system architecture are flagged within this cycle.
    • Working alongside Finance to ensuring accurate costing and warehouse setup.
    • Work alongside process owners within Supply Chain to ensure RFT objectives are met.
    • Work closely with the NPD / EPD teams to ensure that SKUs are set up according to internal master data rules.
  • Data Quality Improvement: SKU and Sourcing Specialist aims to improve the quality of master data by identifying and resolving inconsistencies, errors, and duplicates. This leads to better decision-making, improved operational efficiency, and reduced risks associated with inaccurate data.
  • Data Governance: SKU and Sourcing Specialist establishes and enforces data governance policies and procedures to ensure that master data is managed in a controlled and compliant manner. This includes defining data ownership, data stewardship, and data quality rules.
    • Weekly analysis of operational transactions to collate variance/anomaly reports to the business.
  • Data Integration: SKU and Sourcing Specialist facilitates the integration of master data across different systems and applications within the business. This creates a "single source of truth" for master data, eliminating data silos and improving data consistency.
  • Cost Reduction: By improving data quality and reducing data redundancy, SKU and Sourcing Specialist will support the business to save money through improved data integrity and reduced data management costs.
  • External Sourcing: SKU and Sourcing Specialist will own the supply chain relationship with co-brew/co-pack external partners and work to source Brewdog products in line with Availability targets and freshness guidelines.
    • Provide weekly call off forecasts to suppliers in line with agreed frozen windows and time horizons
    • Align forecasts and call off plans to agreed production rounding values
    • Raise purchase orders and issue raw or packaging materials to supplier in line with individual supplier agreement
    • Issue purchase orders for call off of stock
    • Resolve any invoice queries arising from stock discrepancies
    • Work with partners in logistics to arrange stock collection and delivery into the Brewdog network
    • Work in close collaboration with Procurement and NPD on initiation and ongoing management of relationships
  • Work as part of the overall Supply Planning team, collaborating across the team as required to support overall product availability.
 
KEY RELATIONSHIPS - INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL:
 
  • Key stakeholders are scheduling, materials planning,, supply planning, demand planning, packaging, brewing, procurement, maintenance and warehousing.
  •  Other key internal stakeholders include NPD, finance and marketing. 
 
HEALTH & SAFETY
 
  • Ensure that Health and Safety guidelines and fire regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
  • Comply with safe working practices as defined by BrewDog
  • Complete online or face to face training as and when required
  • Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by acts or omissions at work
  •  Report any accidents, incidents or near misses as soon as reasonably practicable.

About You

QUALIFICATIONS & SPECIFIC TRAINING
  • Experience of SKU master data management in a SAP system
  • Prior experience of supply planning or 3rd party sourcing
  • Intermediate Excel
  •  SAP ERP experience and knowledge
EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience in an SKU data management or Stock Administration role
  • Demonstrable experience using ERP systems, including SAP.
  • Experience in supply planning / external sourcing
 
KNOWLEDGE
  • Basic Understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes.
  • Understanding of S&OP cycle desirable.
  • Knowledge of purchase to pay processes
SKILLS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
