About The Role

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  •  Assisting the Team Manager to Lead, Coach and manage a team of Repack operatives ensuring efficient service delivery
  • Step up to Team Manager role when required to cover gaps due to holiday or absence.
  • Drive the flow of Repack activities ensuring compliance is met as per company SOPs and SSOWs
  • Implement best practices to drive continuous improvement within the warehouse
  • Ensure GMP of the site by maintaining hygiene standards
  • Report and investigate any HSE issues whilst on duty, ensuring guidelines are always adhered to
  • Knowledge and understanding of Automated Repack Machine and its functionalities – Including setting, maintenance and repairs
  • Carry out additional Warehouse duties as listed below:
  1. Goods Receipt – Unloading of vehicles, checking all stock, reporting any damages or discrepancies
  2. Stock Replenishment – label and locate stock to dedicated floor and racking locations
  3. Order Picking – Accurately pick and pack items securely and safely using handheld scanner
  4. Dispatching Orders – Arrange and execute the safe loading of outbound vehicle
Additional Responsibilities
  • Take a proactive approach to individual learning and development to generate a greater understanding of areas that require improvement/development.
  • Provide support to other members of the Repack Operations and wider Warehouse team where required/requested.
  • Plan the time to develop and personally improve both in the completion of day to day tasks and to create opportunities for advancement.
  • Be open-minded to try new methods suggested or technologies to support the priorities of the team.
  • Careful with resource and challenge others where you see wastage.
  • Receive feedback and act constructively to make changes as appropriate.
  • Seek help when needed and actively get to know other team members; looking to understand their roles and perspectives to better contribute to the success of the whole team.

About You

Qualifications & Specific Training

  • Valid FLT/CBT Certificate
Experience
  • Demonstrable experience in warehouse / production Leadership, preferably in FMCG environment
  • Demonstrable experience of general machine setting, maintenance and repairs
Knowledge
  • Understanding of Warehouse / Production Operational Management
  • Understanding of IT Systems, including SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Awareness of HSE Regulations and Environmental Responsibility
 Skills
  • Great leadership and people management skills
  • Outstanding attention to and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills written & verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask by prioritising tasks effectively

Additional Requirements
  • Set shift patterns 24/7 will be required with occasional overtime during peak periods.
