We love great craft beer, and our one mission is that we want to make others as passionate about this as we are. BrewDog bars are at the forefront of that mission, and we need your help in delivering amazing beer and great customer service.

We are a BrewDog Franchise split across three levels including an incredible rooftop terrace, comfortably sitting 250 people with the potential of 500 people at capacity. The bar is in the centre of the Highstreet of an affluent and busy commuter town with great transport links into Central London and surrounding areas. We have spent time creating a bar with a real industrial feel and creative décor, outperforming the competition. Not to mention offering a wide range of outstanding craft beer and a delicious menu for any foodie.

About The Role

We are looking for a Kitchen Manager / Head Chef for this BrewDog franchise. Someone passionate and keen to strive for excellence. Someone to ensure the distance between ourselves and our customers is as small as possible, and that our bars are a vital meeting point for passionate craft beer enthusiasts and novices alike.

As Kitchen manager, you will be in charge of your realm; the kitchen will be your orchestra & you’ll be the conductor. Every single item that leaves the kitchen will be a musical note & you’ll take pride in it being executed perfectly and on time.

You’ll lead a team of passionate chefs & kitchen team. Food will have a huge part to play in driving the success of BrewDog Upminster and you will be working closely with your crew mates to deliver the best food possible.

Your focus will be making sure every single item leaving the kitchen comes in good time & to an exceptional standard. Not only will this site be renowned for its incredible beer & service, but also for its outstanding grub. You, yes you, will be responsible for making that happen.

About You

You will be part of an experienced & passionate management team and work side by side with a crew of passionate & confident craft beer loving individuals. Made up of team in the kitchen, on the floor & behind the bar. The Franchise will be run under the company Baileys Bar Limited. This is a BrewDog Franchise therefore please be aware you will not be an employee of BrewDog Plc.

You’ll have at least at least a couple of years’ experience in a kitchen leadership role in a similar site (large & busy). Your goal will be to fully deliver not only an epic menu, but also an epic menu accompanied by spectacular beer & food pairings.
• You’ll be a natural trainer & love seeing the people around you learn & develop, you’ll be responsible for nurturing the future talent in BrewDog retail and take pride in that.
• Also, some financial acumen will be required.
• Knowledge of craft beer for this role would be desirable, but a willingness to learn if you don’t is essential. We have got all the tools (and the beer), you just need to be excited to learn.
• Most importantly, your reason for being will be delivering the best experience that is humanly possible, along with your teammates for every person that walks through the doors at BrewDog Upminster.
