Kitchen Crew

About Us

We are constantly pushing the boundaries & always trying to ensure the distance between ourselves and our customers is as small as possible, and our bars are a vital meeting point for passionate craft beer enthusiasts and novices alike.

As the Kitchen Manager, you’ll be in charge of your realm; the kitchen will be your orchestra & you’ll be the conductor. Every single item that leaves the kitchen will be a musical note & you’ll take pride in it being executed perfectly and on time.

You’ll lead a team of passionate chefs & a kitchen team. Food will have a huge part to play in launching and driving the success of BrewDog Cork and you’ll be working closely with your crewmates to deliver the best food possible.

Your focus will be making sure every single item leaving the kitchen comes in good time & to an exceptional standard. Not only will this site be renowned for its incredible beer & service, but also for its outstanding grub. You, yes you, will be responsible for making that happen.

Other essentials:

  • Ensuring that kitchen staff adheres to quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
  • Dealing with suppliers, managing the inventory, and ordering stock as needed.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen equipment and organizing repairs when needed.
  • Recruiting, training, and developing amazing talent in the kitchen.
  •  Managing quality controls, audits, and the necessary corrective actions.

You’ll be led by an experienced & passionate General Manager & you’ll stand side by side a crew of roughly 30 passionate & confident craft beer-loving individuals. Made up of team in the kitchen, on the floor & behind the bar.

As this will be the newest bar to join the BrewDog ranks, every one of your crewmates will be new to the role. This is a great opportunity to form an outstanding crew to rock BrewDog Cork and drive the craft beer revolution and its pairing with our food.

About The Role

  • You’ll have at least at least a couple of years’ experience in a kitchen leadership role in a similar site (large & busy). Your goal will be to fully create not only an epic menu, but also spectacular beer & food pairings.
  • You’ll be a natural trainer & love seeing the people around you learn & develop.
  • Experience in working through a new site opening would be radical, this will be a tough ride & we need someone with experience weathering the storm and setting up high standards.
  • Also, some financial acumen will be required as well as critical stock control management experience. Every penny counts!
  • Knowledge of craft beer for this role would be desirable, but a willingness to learn if you don’t is essential. We’ve got all of the tools (and the beer), you just need to be excited to learn.
  • Most importantly, your reason for being will be delivering the best experience that is humanly possible, along with your teammates for every person that walks through the doors at BrewDog Cork.
  • This is a hands-on job for someone with a strong work ethic and leadership skills.
  • Be an inspiring role model, who is able to motivate and manage the kitchen team.
