About The Role

  • Is responsible for adhering to all rules, regulations, policies, programs and related BrewDog, GMP, 5S etc. to ensure safety / quality / efficiency of BrewDog projects, products and equipment.
  • Comply with and drive adherence to all PPE Policies without exception.
  • Be proactive in maintaining plant hygiene with reference to cleaning plans, schedules and ad-hoc cleaning requirements.
  • Executing given tasks in a consistent, safe and efficient manner, according to our established standards and SOPs.
  • Understand & operate equipment in area of responsibility in a safe manner in accordance with training and SOPs.
  • Be a team player who works collaboratively, is flexible, happily shares and supports those around them.
  • Ensure site Health and Safety standards are met, showing a proactive attitude towards creating a safe working environment for yourself and the shift team.
  • Accountable for meeting all the quality parameters of finished products by completing routine checks at the desired frequency.
  • Provide support to other members of the packaging and wider production team where required/requested.
  • Maintain overall hygiene standards and ensuring the cleanliness of the brewery and relevant equipment.
  • Execute given tasks in a consistent, safe and efficient manner, according to our established standards and SOPs.
  • Possess the ability to complete accurate conversions and changeovers to BrewDog standards.
  • Provide constant involvement in process development and improvement, following instructions and carrying out necessary tasks as instructed to meet production targets.
  • Assist with any reasonable management request in order to facilitate safe delivery of packaged goods.
  • Review your processes and suggest improvements as part of department continuous improvement ethos.
  • Build strong working relationships with other BrewDog staff, particularly the Warehouse team, Brewing team, and Engineering/Maintenance team; a close working relationship with these teams is key to the successful operation of the Packaging team.

To include but are not limited to the following;

  • Plan the time to develop and personally improve both in the completion of day to day tasks and to create opportunities for advancement.
  • Be open-minded to try new methods suggested or technologies to support the priorities of the team.

  • Receive feedback and act constructively to make changes as appropriate.

Possess a level of competency to operate the basic Packaging equipment once trained (Depalletizer, Can filler, Seamer, carton packers and kegging machines).

Ability to understand and follow the weekly packaging schedule.

Foundation level of process trouble shooting.

Ability to stand for 10 hours

Ability to lift 45lbs repeatedly throughout shift

About You

This is an entry level packaging position. This role will have limited responsibility within the packaging team and will work under close supervision of more experienced team members. The aim of this role is for the individual to gain a good understanding of the basic packaging principals and operations within BrewDog’s packaging team. Ultimately someone in this role should develop their knowledge and understanding to become capable of operating independently in their designated area within the packaging dept. and have achieved a foundation recognized packaging qualification. This role will be expected to deliver our awesome packaged products in the safest manner possible, at the highest level of quality, on time and in full
