About The Role

Overview 

We are seeking a talented and experienced skilled Full Stack Developer join the BrewDog Product Team 

You will be joining at an exciting time in direct to consumer projects and will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our apps and platforms, data warehousing and  management and projects within the Marketing, Ecommerce and Bar customer experiences. 

You will be working closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-friendly experiences that has customer at the heart of it all. 

 

About the role 

 

Collaborate with Head of Product, Tech Lead, Designers, QA and Developers to understand the stakeholder requirements, customer problem and translate them into technical solutions. 

Develop and maintain ecommerce platforms, third party integrations and 3PL operations, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and user experience. 

Design and implement bar and retail solutions, including bookings and order-to-table functionalities, to enhance customer experiences. 

Utilize your expertise in data engineering to design and implement data pipelines, data warehouses, and serverless architectures. 

Work with MySQL databases to manage and optimize data storage and retrieval for both Ecommerce and Bar/Retail projects. 

Implement serverless solutions to automate processes and enhance system efficiency across all projects. 

Conduct code reviews, perform testing, and ensure high-quality deliverables for all aspects of development. 

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to improve our platforms and solutions. 

About You

Qualifications: 

 

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a focus on Ecommerce platforms.
    • Proficiency in Magento and/or Shopify development, including theme customization, extension development, and API integration.
    • Experience in developing bar and retail solutions, including bookings and order-to-table functionalities, is highly desirable.
    • Ideally but not required, experience in data engineering, including working with MySQL databases, data warehousing, and serverless architectures.
    • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
