About The Role

We are looking for an experienced salesperson with a passion for the best quality craft beer to join the crew and be principally responsible for some of our large strategic On-Trade Route to Market across Central England & Wales and embracing our core mission to make our customers as passionate about great craft beer as we are, with an absolute customer focus as we grow to become a world class supplier.

The On-Trade RTM Key Account Manager (KAM) manages all aspects of the BrewDog customer relationship; working to maximise the potential through existing regional RTM partners, their Head Office and Sales Teams to increase share primarily within the Independent Free Trade through securing new quality distribution & business.

As an On-Trade RTM KAM you will be accountable for the delivery of our business priorities within the channel across the customer base. As an expert in the channel and a specialist in fantastic beer you will execute our brand & volume building initiatives whilst networking with key figures to become an integral part of the UK craft beer scene.

Main Duties summary:

  • Develop and execute customer specific account plans aligned to the On-Trade channel objectives.
  • Ensure that effective personal contact is maintained with all relevant customer contacts in such a way that BrewDog is recognised as a world class supplier.
  • Behave as a world class brand ambassador for BrewDog & Craft Beer
  • Achievement of targeted volume & gross margin.
  • Delivery of market share and channel distribution targets.
  • Maximise all category opportunities for the benefit of both BrewDog and relevant customers.
  • Provide channel and customer forecasts ensuring that accurate forecasts are completed on a timely basis.
  • Ensures that credit control policies are strictly adhered to.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging key customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel

About You

  • Passionate about great craft beer.
  • Min 4 years account management and P&L responsibility in relevant channel/sector.
  • Evidence of building effective relationships at all levels across multiple customers and executing customer business and activation plans.
  • Proven track record of working independently and delivering results; is self-motivated, and able to manage time and workload to optimise effectiveness.
  • Evidence of an entrepreneurial ’can do’ attitude; is uncompromising, ambitious, relentless, willing to take risks, learns obsessively and loves to ‘blow shit up’!
  • A motivated self-starter with ability to deliver results with ‘real’ pace & urgency
  • Solid understanding of the UK On-Trade market and Beer category market place.
  • Strong administrative skills and highly organised.
  • Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen.
  • Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Regular UK travel will be a function of the role.
