About The Role

What we do every day starts with beer and, honestly, ends with beer. But it’s everything in between that makes it a brilliant experience, and that’s where you come in. As assistant manager you’ll:

 

The Key Account Manager is responsible for the sales volume, distribution, brand activation, and the overall retailer partnership in their given geography to ensure the enhancement of BrewDog’s brewery wholesale divisions and retail business. This includes proactively pursuing distribution, securing programming, securing display opportunities, and measuring performance. This position works closely with the field sales team, marketing, the brewery, and the leadership teams.

Job Details:

  • Responsible for all aspects of business related to a set of specified chain accounts.
  • Conduct regular planning and business review meetings with customers to ensure satisfaction and revenue growth for BrewDog and our partners.
  • Will be responsible for developing specific key account goals and business plans to drive the overall business for the chain and wholesaler.
  • Ensure plan execution and facilitation through distributor network.
  • Implement approved marketing and sales strategies at wholesale and retail level.
  • Daily management of target chain account call points across multiple customer segments. 
  • Manage direct interaction with buyers across call points to gain additional distribution and increased promotional activity.
  • Develop and communicate programming, distribution, pricing and promotional updates to chain partners, BrewDog sales team and wholesaler network. 
  • Participate in quarterly wholesaler business planning meetings with Territory Managers and wholesalers. 
  • Track and report all sales programs, including surveying stores for display and distribution measurement. 
  • Understanding of data research software needed to present our sales performance and opportunities.  
  • Create content and manage presentations for Spring reset cycles and Fall tweaks.  
  • Ability to validate planograms, review for accuracy, and make informed recommendations during reset cycles
  • Review strategies to increase profitability and sales for products and buyers with Armadillo, sales data and program execution recaps.
  • Develops quarterly chain account target lists built from goals and objectives.
  • Must be able to analyze and develop sales opportunity from VIP software, IRI, Nielson or other company provided sales/CRM software.
  • Performs administrative tasks as they are assigned (expense reports, monthly work calendar, establish distribution targets, evaluate discount programs, conduct price surveys).

About You

Experience

  • You are an influential communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You will have opportunities to display excellent written and verbal communication skills while also being relaxed giving presentations in front of small groups of people including executives, vendors, and customers (both internal and external) at all levels of an organization.
  • You will ideally have 2-3 years’ of sales experience in TAB and or the beverage industry -  key account experience preferred
  • You have the ability to analyze available information for the purposes of preparing reports, coordinating efforts and solving problems .
  • Experience with syndicated sales data and /CRM software.
  • Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel in support of the requirements of the position (i.e. fostering partnerships, growing the business, etc.)
  • Your ability to effectively manage your time and prioritize goals and opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree  preferred.
